How to Tie a Boat Knot

After you are a boat owner and get yourself a good dock line, you may tie it to a cleat. Here is what you may want to tie a boat knot.

First, you put the rope to the back side of the cleat.

Second, wrap it around your hand and loop it to the front side.

Then you may loop on the back side again. Thus, a knot is done.

You can add more loops and repeat from back side to front side to secure your boat.
